1. In the Klaviyo email editor, drag in an HTML block and paste the HTML.
2. Keep it as a linked image. Do not download the GIF and upload it to the image library; an uploaded copy stops counting.
3. The image is drawn at twice its width in the email, so it stays sharp on phones and retina screens.
4. Preview it in Klaviyo to check it. Older Outlook for Windows (2007 to 2019) shows the first frame only, which is still the correct time left.
